I started work on a program that will backup MaxiSys files and switch logos, create custom quick links plus a few other things many months ago. You can view that project here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zjj76NPkTF4
Time constraints and other commitments has put a temporary stop on that project.

Because I am making no progress on this app I have decided to strip out the incomplete components and build a 'lite' version that will at least allow users to customize and restore the MaxiSys logos.

You can download the MaxiTools Lite app from here.

    A disclaimer....
This has been developed using my MaxiSys. I use this app regularly to restore and customize my logos and it works fine. However, I give no guarantees as to how it will perform on your MaxiSys for your region and do not accept any responsibility for any shit that may happen as a result of using this software.

I highly recommend performing a backup before using the software.

     Hi Rod,

Thanks for the program, it makes it so much easier to restore the icons.

     You're welcome.

The quickest method to restore the icons with MaxiTools is to use the 'My Favourites' option.
First you create your own custom collection of icons in the settings page. The program already has the default OE icons in the favourites window but some may want to create custom icons.
Then all you need to do each time you wish to restore the icons is to open the Logo Editor page and select the 'My Favourites' button. One click and you have all the icons restored.

I forgot to modify the automatic update path in the first release of the lite version so it will never notify the user when new versions are available.

Everyone that has already downloaded the MaxiTools software will need to download it again from this location to get the new version with the auto update fix.

    Get new version here:

Web stats are telling me that there has been a lot of MaxiTools Lite downloads and I see no negative comments on here so I hope this means that the app is working okay for everyone?
